Has anyone experienced a change in a general ledger account that they cannot explain or trace?

Thank you for alerting us about the issue you're getting, @Bernie2812.

 

Changes happen from the general ledger account when someone from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account updates it from there. We can check and review the changes made by visiting the Audit Log report.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QBO account, then go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Audit Log under Tools.
  3. Look for the changes from there, or make the necessary filters to broaden your search.
  4. Click on View under History to see the details of the changes and who updated it.
