Question

Has anyone had their Quickbooks online account suddenly canceled and received an email saying that they had canceled their own subscription?

Hi, Mjsbrooks22.

I suggest checking the Audit Log, this way, you're able to see who made changes to your books and what these changes are.

Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon and choose Audit Log.

2. Select the Filter button.

3. From the Filter window, choose the appropriate User, Date, or Events filter to narrow the results.

4. Hit the Apply button.

Also, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support if you can't see the changes of your Audit Log .With their tools, one of our specialists can pull up your account we have on file  and help review the history of your subscription. To do so:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter Billing and Subscription in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Choose a channel where you wish to connect with our dedicated specialists.

Please check this article to see a few things about what happens to your QuickBooks Online data after you end your QBO subscription: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?.

In case you need to use the program in the future, you can re-subscribe to it. For more information, refer to this article: How to resubscribe or reactivate QuickBooks Online.
