Have others found QuickBooks to be problematic as far as hangtime goes? I find that at tims I often have to sign out and back in, and then it still hangs for extended pe

I've been using QB for over 5 years, and it used to be great... what's going on now?

However, if the issue persists, I suggest logging into your account using a private browser/ incognito mode. Private browsing prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify browser issues. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open a private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift +N

 

If the private browsing session works, you’ll need to clear your browser’s cache to prevent unexpected behavior in the product. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.
