Having issues refunding customer credit card

Greetings, @tonystamales-cat.

 

You can create a credit memo or a refund receipt to issue a refund to your customers. Also, credit card refunds can only go back to the original card used for the purchase. I can guide you how to do it.

 

Here's how to create the refund receipt:

  1. Click the Plus sign (+) icon.
  2. Choose Refund Receipt.
  3. Fill in the necessary fields.
  4. Click Save and close

Once completed, you can match it with the refund receipt you’ve processed in Quickbooks. Here’s how:

  1. On the left panel, click on Banking.
  2. In the For Review tab, locate the refund.
  3. Select the transaction, click on Find Match.
  4. In the Match transactions page, choose the refund receipt.
  5. Click on Save.
