How are Indian scammers getting info on QB users?

No doubt all of us get scam calls all the time. But after switching back to QB just over a month ago, I already have Indian scammers spamming my landline with calls to "update my payment information".

I don't think there's any way they could have got that information from something I have done.

This causes me to wonder; is QB or one or more of its third party partners selling our info?

I think that I ought not to have to deal with scammers from ****thole countries as a consequence of doing business with parties who are apparently monetizing my information and laundering it to P a jeet*stan.

"Hi, this is Ed calling you from separate for QuickBooks, this message is for the accounts table. The reason for my call is in regards to the annual service, Renewal for QuickBooks account, which is on to you. And the call  on file, go to client. The kindly reaches back in a virtual fee number, which is [removed]1. And when you call by, you can ask for any. Thank you so much. You have great day"
