How can I access someone's QuickBooks records to generate a report?

To get access to their data, you can ask the account owner to add you as a user that can be limited to reports or add you as an admin. That way you can generate a report from their company.

You can also share these steps on how to add you as their user:

1. Go to Settings and select Manage users.
2. Select the Add user button.
3. Choose the preferred limitation of the user and select Next.
4. Enter the name and email address of the user.
5. Select Next.

Once done, you will receive an email invitation from the account owner. From your email, click the hyperlink and follow the on-screen instruction to access the company reports.
