Question

How can I add different credit card accounts from the same bank login to different Quickbooks Online accounts? Each time I connect one, it disconnects the other.

I work for two sister companies that have different QBO accounts. There is a single Capital One login that has credit cards for both companies associated with it. Whenever I connect them in one QBO account, it disconnects the other. While it is the same bank login, I am connecting different accounts from that login in each set of books.

Hi KellyCR,

QuickBooks Online will detect that the account you're trying to connect is linked to a different subscription.

When you connect the credit card account, the system will automatically disconnect the previous connection from the other QuickBooks account.

If you want to bring in the transactions, you can enter them manually using Chart of accounts. Here's an article as your guide: Manually add transactions.

Afterward, you can categorize the transactions to ensure they're on their correct accounts: Categorize transactions.

You can always leave a reply whenever thing arise. I'll be around to guide you.
