Question

How can I cancel/void/refund my Quickbooks Online subscription? I just purchased it a few minutes ago and have decided I'm not ready for it yet.

Thank you for posting here in QuickBooks Community. I appreciate you allowing QuickBooks the opportunity to meet your business needs and would be happy to assist you with canceling your account.

 

I suggest going to the Billing & Subscription page. From there, you'll have the option to cancel your Quickbooks Online subscription.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Account and Settings and click Billing & Subscription.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel (paid subscription) or Cancel Trial (if you’re using a trial).
  4. Choose Continue to Cancel, then Continue to Cancel again.
  5. Follow the steps on the screen.
  6. Select Submit and cancel subscription. Then, choose Got it.

Once done, you'll receive an email confirmation that you canceled your online subscription plan.

 

I'd also suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They can pull up your account and discuss the refund process.

 

Here's how to contact them:

 

1. Open your QuickBooks Account.

2. At the top right, click the Help icon.

3. Click Contact Us.

4. Under What can we help you with?, enter your concern about your subscription refund.

5. Click Let's Talk.

6. You'll be routed into the Choose a way to connect with us page.

 

  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

 

7. Select how you want to contact them and fill in the information.
