Question

How can I change the email address associated with my Quickbooks account to one that I use more often? I tried to do this but got stuck when it asked for a password.

I tried using my Quickbooks password, and my Intuit password, and even my email password, but none of them worked.

Thanks for stopping by this evening. There's two ways to change your email address that you use to sign in. From your Intuit account and directly within QuickBooks Online. Follow these steps below. 

 

From your Intuit account:

 

You can sign in to your Intuit account directly. In the Email address section, select Edit and change your email.

 

From your QuickBooks Online account:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Settings ⚙ and then select Intuit account or Your account.
  3. In the Email address section, select Edit and change your email. 

You mentioned that you've tried signing in but aren't able too. If neither of the above methods will work, you can get help recovering your account. Here's how you can recover your account
