How can I change the master admin user if that person is no longer with the org to share their log in info?

Hi @jen59,

 

I'm here to help you out and share insight on your query about changing the master admin of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.

 

The quickest way to get this done would be to contact the current master admin user and have them follow the steps listed in this article: Change your QuickBooks Online master admin user. Be advised, only a company admin user can be selected as the new master admin. If your QBO company doesn't have one, have your current master admin check out this article: Add, delete, or change user access.

 

In case this isn't possible, you can contact our Technical Support team for further assistance. They can submit the Master Admin Transfer request for you. Please know that this process is a bit longer compared to what I mentioned above. It will take around 10 business days as an estimate. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO company.
  2. Click the Help menu.
  3. Select Contact us.
