Hello, Kinney. I’m here to provide you with information about how invoice payments work in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Correcting the payment date for invoices from previous months is a great idea and is important for any business. However, this feature is currently unavailable in the program. The payment date is automatically determined based on when you mark the invoice as paid.

While this option isn’t available right now, I recommend sending your feedback to our Product Development Team. They will review it and may consider in the future.

At this time, the browser Assistant button is not working to send feedback. I recommend submitting one using the QBSE mobile app. Here's how:

  1. Tap the Assistant icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Type in Feedback and send it.
  3. Follow the prompts to submit it.

Additionally, you can check out this article for guidance on paying your estimated quarterly taxes in QBSE: Pay federal estimated quarterly taxes in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know if you need further information about your sales transactions in QBSE. I'm just around to assist you.
