Hi there, ppaciello.

Exporting paid taxes or other data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to Quicken isn't an option. You can export your data out of QBO using an Excel file. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings ⚙ icon from the tool bar.
  2. Under Tools, select Export Data.
  3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  5. Select Export to Excel.
  6. Then, I recommend seeking help from Quicken on how to import the Excel file to their software.

I'm adding this article for your reference: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, export your data from the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) version to Quicken. You can download a trial to use as an alternative. This is where we can export the data from QBO. Then, export your lists or transactions to Excel. Once done, import the file to Quicken.

  1. Download a QBDT trial version. Before you start, ensure that your computer meets the minimum requirements to install QuickBooks.
  2. Launch QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Go to File and select Close Company
  4. Leave QBDT open while you complete the rest of the steps.

Then, you can proceed with converting your QBO data to QBDT. Refer to this article for the data lists that can be converted: How your data is converted.

Once you're done, we can begin exporting your data from QBDT to Quicken using Excel. Refer to this article for the detailed steps: Convert from QuickBooks Desktop to Quicken.

If you need to Quicken data to QuickBooks Online, please refer to this article for the details on how to achieve this: How to convert Quicken data to QBO.
