How can I hide rows on my P and L?

I don't use QBO but rather QBD. In the report you could check out the filter options, but that might not get you the results with accounts excluded that you want.

An option would be to export the report to Excel then remove the rows you don't want on the report. But keep in might you would have to adjust sub-totals and totals of the report if you need those.
