How do I activate the annual payroll subscription on my computer?

You'll have your Annual Payroll Subscription activated in no time. After you purchased your Payroll service, you should have received an email with your service key. This service key is what activates your Payroll. If you didn't receive an email, use our Automated Service Key Tool. Now, all we have to do is enter the key. Here's how:

1. From the Employees menu, go to Payroll > Enter Service Key.
2. If you have an existing payroll subscription, you're prompted to specify if you want to add this file to your payroll subscription. Select Skip to go to the Service Key window, or Add File to add this file to an existing Payroll subscription.
3. Press Add. Enter the service key, and press Next. A confirmation message appears.
4. Hit Finish.

That's all there's to it! QuickBooks Desktop will download the latest tax table and verify your subscription. For more information on activating your Payroll, click here.
