How do I add an accountant to my list in my quickbooks online?

You've came to the right place, @xgradellc. Let's get your accountant connected to QuickBooks Online.

 

When connecting your accountant, they'll need to have a QuickBooks Accountant Account.  Once they've created one, you can get them connected. Let's get started:

 

  1. Login to your account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then Manage users.
  3. Now let's select the Accountant sections and choose Invite Accountant.
  4. Enter your accountant's information. They will receive an email to accept the invitation. I do recommend they use a Private or Incognito Window when accepting the invitation to ensure no cache or cookies cause any issues.
  5. They will be asked to create a user ID before signing in the first time, unless they already have an account with Intuit Business Services.
  6. Until your accountant signs in, their status on the Manage Users page is "Invited." After accepting the invitation, their status changes to "Active."
  7. Click Next and Finish .
