How do I cancel my account?

Hi @dougtcook  , thank you for joining quickbooks community.

If you're cancelling your free trial:

  1. Select Settings ⚙ and then Company Settings.
  2. Select Billing & Subscription.
  3. Select Cancel your trial.
  4. Select Continue to cancel.
  5. Follow the steps on the screen.
  6. Select Submit and cancel subscription.
  7. Select Got it.

If you have a subscription:

  1. Select Settings ⚙ and then Company Settings.
  2. Select the Billing and subscription tab.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  4. Select Continue to cancel, then select Continue to cancel again (if applicable).
  5. Follow the next steps.
  6. Select Submit and cancel subscription.
  7. Select Got it.

Hi there, @dougtcook.

 

Let me guide you on how to cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and look for Account and Settings.
  2. Proceed to the Billing and Subscription tab. 
  3. Click the Cancel link beside your QuickBooks Online subscription status.
  4. Click Continue to cancel and indicate that this is a duplicate an invalid account. 
  5. Click Confirm Cancel.

 

If the account is within the trial period, it'll be canceled automatically after 30 days. Then, your data will be deleted after 90 days.
