How do I change email for quickbooks online?

I have a account for payroll and just started a subscription for about online but it’s for a different company and now I can’t unlink them?

To change the email address, ensure you're the Primary admin of the account, then follow the outlined steps below:

 

  1. Login to the QuickBooks Online account you'd like to change.
  2. At the top right corner, select your Profile icon next to the Gear icon.
  3. Click Manage your Intuit Account to be routed to the Intuit Account page.
  4. Then, select the Sign-in & security tab, click the Email address section, and make your changes.
  5. Click Save.

 

Additionally, after you change the email address, make sure to update your email address in QuickBooks Online's Company Settings. This is to ensure your customers see the correct contact info for your company in any sales forms.
