How do I change my company's start date? It did not ask me in the setup. Please help!

The Company start date will only ask when you set up your account. The start date is to help you consider the transition to using QuickBooks. There's no Start Date stored anywhere.

We can review your opening balance equity and date in the Chart of accounts. Then, Edit your bank balance or opening balance if needed.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Accounting menu.
2. Select Chart of accounts.
3. Choose your account, then review.
