How do I close an Intuit account? I need Australian subscription not US.

I have incorrectly set up a trial self-employed quickbooks account. How do I delete this and my US intuit account.

If you want to use the same email address, you have chat Support and ask them to remove your email address in their system. Otherwise, you have to use another email address to open a QBSE AU account.

Fiat Lux - Asia is right. Only one QBSE subscription is allowed per email. I'm happy to add more information about your next steps.

 

If you've already paid for the subscription, you'll want to contact our QBSE Team to have your email removed. If you haven't, just create a dummy email account and use it to replace the email address of your Intuit account. This way, you can re-use the other email address to subscribe to QBSE Australia. However, please don't do this if you have other subscriptions, so you won't have login issues. Reach out to Support instead.

 

Just to clarify, your email address is associated to your Intuit account. QBSE is just a subscription under your Intuit account. Therefore, changing your email address means changing the email address of your Intuit account, and all subscriptions under it (QBSE, QBO, etc) will now use the new email.

 

Contact QBSE Support:

 

  1. Sign in to QBSE.
  2. Select Assistant.
  3. Type in Talk to human.

 

Change the email address of your Intuit account:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙, then select Intuit Account to open the Intuit Account Manager.
  3. Select Sign in & security.
  4. Select the User ID, Email address, Password, or Phone section.
  5. Make your changes.
  6. When you're done, select Save.

 

After changing your email, you can use the original email to create an Intuit account again and buy QB Self-Employed for Australia. Please click on this link for the AU version: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/au/self-employed/
