Question

How do I connect the mobile app with my online information? Do I use Self Employed or just Quick Books?

I have the app -- I had both -- but it doesn't want to sign me in. I don't understand. I use the same sign-in info, and now it's as if I am starting from nothing! Please help. I would be highly dissatisfied if I need to pay separately for a subscription online AND to access their mobile app.

Glad to have you here in the Community, @mike-menrestored.

The login credentials may be entered incorrectly that's why you're unable to sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

If you still have access to the phone number or email address on file, let's reset your password or recover your user ID to help fix this. Just use a web browser on your new phone to complete this task. I'll guide you on how.

1. Go to the QBO sign-in page.

2. Select I forgot my user ID or Password.

3. Enter your phone number, email address, or user ID.

4. Click Continue.

5. Follow the onscreen instructions. If you used your email address to verify your account, you'll receive an email with a password reset link.

I'd suggest checking out this article to learn more about some common login issues and their solutions. Just go to the section specific to your situation.

If you no longer have access to the phone number or email address on file, you can send us a request to recover your account. We'll take care of it within one business day.

Once fixed, I recommend changing your email address or other info to ensure they're up to date in QBO.

After that, you can now perform essential tasks in the mobile app, such as sending invoices to your customers. Also, use this chart to compare the application's features depending on the phone model you're using.

I'm here anytime you need anything else. Keep safe always.
