I'm glad to walk you through how to move QuickBooks Online data to the Desktop version, Cindy Christmas.

You can start by accessing QuickBooks Desktop and leave it open. Then, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the QuickBooks Online account you want to convert using a supported web browser. Use your Intuit Account credentials.
  2. Highlight the URL and replace anything after /app/ with exportqbodatatoqbdt.  The URL should say https://cxx.qbo.intuit.com/app/exportqbodatatoqbdtXX in the URL is a number, (don't edit the number), and select Enter on your keyboard. Other support task links won't work during this process.
  3. You'll see an Export Overview Window.
  4. Read the Export Overview. You can print it if you'd like, then click Get Started.
  5. Select Download tool to download the QuickBooks Desktop migration tool.
  6. Once you download the tool, launch the tool to install it and select Next.
  7. Accept the terms in the license agreement and select Next,
  8. Choose Complete as the type of setup, select Next and then Install.
  9. Click Finish.

To finish the migration, please browse this article and follow Steps 3 to 6Export and convert your QuickBooks Online data to QuickBooks Desktop.

Also, please know how your data converts through this link: Limitations when you convert from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

Let me know if you need additional information about the process. Just leave a comment below, and I'll get back to you.
