Question

How do I enable exporting of reports from Quickbooks to Google Sheets? Google sheets is listed as an export option, but the message says to set up through admin. How?

From a report, the "Export" icon now gives options to export to Excel, PDF, or Google Sheets. Clicking on Google Sheets returns a message, "You’ll need some help to do this. Contact your company administrator to connect Google Sheets to QuickBooks." I am an administrator, but need some instructions on how to connect. Thanks!

Hey there, @pete-skalla-v5sy

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. I'm happy to help you export to Google Sheets.

Exporting to google sheets is a new feature included with QuickBooks Online Advanced. It makes sharing reports and exporting as easy as 1,2,3. When using this new feature, please know you must be signed in as the Master Admin User

Once you're signed in as the Master Admin User, let's set everything up.

Here's how:

1. Open the report you wish to export to Google Sheets.

2. From the export drop-down hit Google Sheets.

3. Enter the code sent to you by Intuit to verify it's you.

4. Agree to the permission by hitting Allow

Once you click Allow, your Google account will open for you to sign in to link the account. Then, once you've linked the accounts, you can now export to Google Sheets.

However, if you're currently signed in as the Master Admin, could you provide a screenshot of the message you're receiving.

Please do let me know if you have further questions or concerns. I'll be here every step of the way. Feel free to reach out to the Community at any time. Take care!

Hello, This was very easy to do for me.  Thank you.

Please tell me how to disconnect my gmail account.  I used the wrong one and I'd like to change it.

Thank you.
