Hi there, @bonnee1.

Welcome aboard to the Community. I'm here to share some clarification about exporting data in QuickBooks.

Currently, the option to download reports to excel is unavailable. As a workaround, you can export the data as a PDF file in the Self-Employed version.

You may opt for a third-party that offers conversion services. There are apps online you can use to export PDF documents into Excel files.

Here's how to download the report:

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Reports.
  2. Choose the report.
  3. Press the download icon in the upper-right corner.

QuickBooks Self-employed provides similar features to QuickBooks Online, however, they are designed differently. You can learn more of this through this link: All Your Work, All in One Place: QuickBooks Self-Employed.

For more information, as well as how to download transactions in QuickBooks, I recommend the following article: Export transactions and get reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Leave a comment below if you have other concerns regarding running reports. The Community and I will be around to help you.
