How do I get a QuickBooks Certification as a bookkeeper?

To take QuickBooks ProAdvisor learning material and certification exam, you'll need to have a QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA)  version and access it from there.

If you already have a QBOA account, below are the steps on how to start a course and take an exam to get certified.

To start a new training course:

1. Sign in to your QBOA account.
2. Go to the ProAdvisor menu.
3. Click the Training tab.
4. Select one of the training course categories.
5. Choose a course and then Start. Or select Resume to continue a course you already started.

Once done, here's how to take a certification exam:

1. Go to the ProAdvisor menu.
2. Select the Training tab.
3. Look for the certification you want to take.
4. Select Take exam.

After you pass an exam, you can download your certificates right from your firm:

1. Go to the ProAdvisor menu.
2. Select the Training tab.
3. Look for the certification.
4. Select Download certificate.
