Question

How do I get a report of All Jobs by Customer? There's no such report in the Report menu. Also, When make a Job as Inactive, I don't see where I can find it again?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community forum, @Langsford.

In QuickBooks Desktop, you can run the Transaction List by Customer report and customize to show all jobs transactions.

Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Click the Reports menu at the top.
  2. Pick Customers & Receivables.
  3. Choose Transaction List by Customer.
  4. Hit on Customize Report.
  5. In the Filter tab, search for Job Type.
  6. From the drop-down menu, choose Multiple Job Types
  7. Choose the period.
  8. Click on OK.

You can also run the Customer & Job List report which shows all of your customers including those who are tagged as active and inactive,

Thanks, that is the report I was looking for hoping it would solve 2 issues.   2 questions.  Do you know how to make the report total on the Amount field?  Also, Once a Job is marked at Inactive, is there way way to get it back to active?
