How do I get my latest AMEX transactions to pull in? I tried to update connection, edit connection and entered login, checked For Review, Categorized and Excluded.

I appreciate all the steps you've done to isolate the issue, sunchard.

Manually updating the connection between QuickBooks and AMEX should downloads the latest available transactions. Since this don't wok on your end, let's check you bank's website for any page maintenance.

You can get the URL that QuickBooks uses to connect through the Banking page. Here's how:

  1. From the Banking menu, select Banking.
  2. Select Link account.
  3. Search for your bank.
  4. Copy the URL listed for your bank.
  5. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website using the copied URL.

If you can sign in, it's a good sign that there isn't a major issue.

Then, check your account for messages, notifications, and alerts.

If everything looks good, go back to QuickBooks and try updating the connection again.

If the same thing persists, try updating your bank information in QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. From the Banking tab, select Banking.
  2. Select the tile for the bank account. Then select the Edit ✎ icon.
  3. Select Edit sign-in info.
  4. Update your info as needed.

In addition to, did you receive any bank error while updating the connection? You can check these links to fix specific download errors:

Keep me posted as to how these steps work on your end. I want to ensure that this gets resolved.
