Question

How do I get the Dashboard Cash Flow chart to update? It appears to be reflecting long-since-deleted transactions - running a cash flow report doesn't show the same thing

I deleted 2 accounts and all transactions from them several days ago. Everything in quickbooks appears to have reflected this change, including a statement of cash flow, but the Cash Flow chart in Dashboard shows incorrect numbers that aren't present anywhere else.

Thanks for reaching out to us, userdavid6.

The Cash Flow on your dashboard only shows the data from a linked bank account. We can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this.

Let's start by using an incognito window and check the Cash Flow from there. Here are some of the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

Also, let's clear the cache since it causes errors in QuickBooks Online, too. Lastly, make sure that the browser supported and up-to-date.
