How do I link my regular quickbooks and all the info I have logged in there for last year into this quickbooks self-employed? In order to file my taxes for last year.

Thanks for checking in with us, syntheticgrassma.

If you are referring to linking your QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QucikBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), that option is unavailable. What we can do is to move your QBSE data to QBO. You'll want to export bank transactions using a .CSV file and import them into QBSE. Just see the export list data in QBO article for more details. Then, import your .CSV file into QBSE by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Imports.
  3. Select an account and click on the Import older transactions link under Action.
  4. Follow the instructions onscreen to finish importing your data.
  5. Click Import.

We can also add and connect your bank with QBSE. You'll want to check for a third-party application that can help you transfer or link your data to QBSE. Just check out the apps that are compatible with QuickBooks at this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/. Any questions about integrating the app into your Online account are best handled by the third-party app provider.
