Question

How do I make it so users can review receipt snaps and get the expenses entered? They are standard users currently with full expense access.

They can do the initial portion of taking the picture but when attempting to review it restricts their ability to enter certainly field such as payment account but they have no problem directly entering expenses and selecting payment account.

Let me provide you some information about user roles and access rights to know what access rights to choose, info1662.

 

Currently, a standard user with all access has a certain level of access which may restrict the ability to review snaps. You can set different levels of access for this user like the company admin access. This gives access to every part of your QuickBooks account. To do this, follow the steps provided below: 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks with a user profile that has permission to manage users.
  2. Click the Gear ⚙ icon and select Manage users.
  3. Find the user you want to edit. Then select Edit in the Action column.
  4. In the User type drop-down ▼ menu, select the new user type.
  5. Select the user settings, if applicable.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Ask the user to sign out and sign in again into QuickBooks Online to see the updates.
