What do you mean with "merge"? Do you wish to migrate data from QBSE to a new blank QBO account, or else?

I've got your back on merging your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) data to QuickBooks Online (QBO), @ncsyko-gmail-com.

You can move your QBSE data to QBO by upgrading your subscription. This will automatically transfer your data into QBO. Let me guide you through the process.

Before we start, you'll want to download a copy of all of your work from QBSE for your records. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBSE account.
  2. Go to the Reports menu.
  3. In the Tax details section, select a tax year.
  4. Select Download to get a Tax Details report.
  5. Download a report for each tax year you have in QuickBooks.

Once done, you can now upgrade your QBSE subscription to merge your data to QBO. Please follow the detailed steps below:

  1. In your QBSE account, click the Gear icon and select Billing info.
  2. Go to the Explore QuickBooks Online plans.
  3. Select Switch plan or Choose plan for the QuickBooks Online plan you want. Then, follow the on-screen steps.
  4. Click Bring my data.
  5. Select To QuickBooks Online when you're ready to move your data to QBO.

However, there are times that the Explore QuickBooks Online plans option isn't available. In this case, you'll want to manually move your data to QBO. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online.
