I can see how beneficial it is to pull up an aged receivable report in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @manager-aberdeen.

You can run an A/R Aging summary report as this gives an overview of the outstanding balances of your customer's payments and how long they're past due. I'd be glad to show you how:

  1. On the left navigational panel, look for Reports.
  2. In the Find report by name, search for Accounts receivable aging summary.
  3. From there, you can change the Report periodAging methodDays per aging period, and the Number of periods depending on what you prefer.
  4. Once done, click Run report.

On the other hand, you can also run an A/R Aging detail report wherein you can see which customers have past due balances and how long each transaction is past due.

Here's how:

  1. Look for Reports in the left navigational panel.
  2. In the Find report by name, search for Accounts receivable aging detail.
  3. From there, you can change the Aging methodReport periodDays per aging periodNumber of periods, and Min. Days Past due
  4. Once done changing the details, hit Run report.

Lastly, I'd recommend this resource you can browse for you to be able to know what's the cause if you have customers with net zero balances in the A/R Aging Summary report: Clear up customers with zero net balances in the Accounts Receivable Aging report.
