How do I remove an accountant from my account, "My Accountant"?

I no longer use the accountant listed under "My Accountant" yet they are still receiving my information. How do I get rid of them?

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users.
  3. Select the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Find the accountant you want to remove.
  5. Select the small arrow dropdown ▼ in the Action column and then Delete.
  6. Select Delete to finish.

This feature is not available unless you have a paid subscription. How do you remove an accountant without a paid subscription?
