I have a new bookkeeper, and I do not want for the previous bookkeeper to still have access to my business account. How do I delete their previous access?

How did you pay bills for QBO account? Thru your accountant or directly to Intuit? Do you have the access as Primary Admin?

Removing accountant access is a breeze, @amyjeanyeager05.

Just make sure you have the Admin rights so you can perform the process. Once confirmed, here are the steps you can follow:

  1. Click Settings and click Manage users.
  2. Select the Accounting firms tab.
  3. Look for the accountant you want to remove.
  4. Click the small arrow dropdown in the Action column and then Delete.
  5. Choose Delete to confirm.

Once finished, you can now add your new bookkeeper to your QBO account: Invite an accountant to review your accounting in QuickBooks Online.

Just in case you'll need an additional person to manage your QBO account, you can easily add them as one of the users. Then, to manage what they can and cannot do within your company file, you can restrict their access

I have three accountants listed, and two have "Delete" next to their name. The one I want deleted does not have delete next to their name, so how do I delete them?
