Please take note of the following information to easily spot a suspicious phishing email:  

 

  • We’ll never ask for your personal information in an email
  • Our emails will always come from an email address that ends with “@intuit.com”
  • Any link we send you in an email will always be for an “intuit.com” address

 

Here's how you can report it:

 

  1. Go to this link; https://security.intuit.com/.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Look for Report a fake email (or phishing email) and click on it.

The links on your website - security.intuit.com to "report a fake email" and "report tech support scams" do not work.  All the other links, "privacy question", "credit karma", etc., work fine and moves you forward to the next page.  But I can't get the fake email or tech support scams links to do anything.  On the Edge browser, the links take me to a Google page and absolutely nothing happens at all using the Chrome brower.  Any suggestions?.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I want to make sure you're able to report any fake emails you've received claiming to be Intuit.

 

If the links aren't working or loading to the next page, I recommend clearing the browser cache as an initial troubleshooting step. The cache is in place to store frequently used data to make loading web pages quicker and easier. If it becomes too full it can potentially cause certain viewing and performance errors.

Give this a try and then try selecting the links once more to report the scam emails. I'm only a comment or post away if you have any other questions.

Forward the phishing/scam emails to:

security AT intuit DOT com

 

Since this blog redacts email addresses you will need to replace the AT with an @ and DOT with a . for the actual email address to use.
