You can go to your account's Gear icon to successfully restore your account's past version. I'll gladly lend a hand with completing this process.

Before we proceed, there are limitations on what data you can restore. These include the following:

  • Budgets
  • Inventory
  • Tax rates using expense accounts
  • Data backed up using the personal cloud archive feature

To effectively retrieve your previous data, you can follow the steps I'll share below:

  1. Head to Gear ⚙, then Back up company. It may be necessary to sign in using your Intuit account to authorize this restoration. If so, please click the Authorize option.
  2. Locate the company you intend to retrieve.
  3. In the Action ▼ dropdown menu, select Restore.
  4. Choose the date you want to restore from the Date field.
  5. From the Time ▼ dropdown menu, select your preferred time.
  6. Click Next and follow the instructions given.
  7. Select Start Restore.

Moreover, please refrain from using your company while the  Online Backup and Restore app restores your data. This way, you can avoid any restoration errors.
