Hello there, @userappraiserite.

You can export your reports and lists and manually send them to your accountant so they can access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data. I'll gladly share further details about this below.

You're able to export your reports and list to let you save your company file (to your local hard drive) outside QuickBooks. Then, you can send them to your accountants to help you manage your financial data. To do this, here's how:

  1. Select the Settings ⚙ icon from the toolbar.
  2. Under Tools, select Export Data.
  3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  5. Select Export to Excel.

You can also export non-posting information that's not included in reports and lists. If you wish to learn more about this, you can refer to this article: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, you can also opt to invite your accountant to access your QBO account. This way, they can directly review your books, make corrections, and collaborate with you on any issues you may have with your company. To learn more about this process, please see this article: Add accountant users in QuickBooks Online.

Also, reports in QuickBooks give you tons of great info about your business. You can customize them to focus on the details that matter to you. You may want to check out this article to learn more about this process in QBO: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Please feel free to leave a comment below if you have other exporting concerns or questions about managing company files in QBO. I'm always ready to help. Take care, @userappraiserite.
