How do I upgrade to QB 2021 while in the program

Before anything else, may I know which edition of QuickBooks are you using? Do you have Pro, Premier or Enterprise? Any information will help.

If you want to upgrade a company file, you need to close the program. Then download your new version of QuickBooks Desktop. Once downloaded, follow the steps to install your new version.

When you're all set, follow Step 3 of this article: Upgrade your company files after you switch to a new version of QuickBooks Desktop.

Make sure to create a backup copy of the company file prior to the upgrade. This is to ensure we are safe from any data loss or corruptions.
