I can help you with creating a backup of your QuickBooks Online account, @soisethtruck_tra

If you're subscribed to QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can create a backup and save it to your Dropbox and Google Drive. Check this article for more information about data that you can and can't back up: Back up and restore your QuickBooks Online Advanced Company

If not, you can export your forms, lists, and reports from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account to save copies to your computer's hard drive and save them to your flash drive right away.

Here's how to export your reports and lists:

  1. Go to the Gear icon () and select Export data.
  2. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  3. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
  4. Click on Export to Excel.

Check this article for more information about exporting your reports and lists: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you need further help creating a backup. Have a great rest of the day!

Hello reginamjilton,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Are you signed in as a primary user or an admin user? Your permission setting could be the reason for this.

Please let me know if you are still experiencing this while being an admin. My team and I will be on standby, ready to help. See you soon.

Ask your accountant, why do they need QB Desktop file? Do they need to export your data to TurboTax Desktop or else?
