How do you delete the business?

You can delete data but this is only within 90 days sign up, up to 90 days. This process will delete all data in the company file. Once you delete it, you can’t restore it.

1. Sign in to your QBO account
2. Look at the URL in your browser's address bar. Delete all the text after the last / and enter purgecompany.
   For example:
   • Before: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage
   • After: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
3. To confirm you want to delete your company data, type Yes.
4. Select Wipe data.

If you are using QuickBooks Online Simple Start or your account is over 60 days old, you may consider purchasing or start a new QuickBooks Online account. You need to cancel your account to start a new one. Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon at the top. 
2. Select Accounts and Settings and go to Billing and Subscription. 
3. Locate the subscription and click Cancel. 
4. Follow the succeeding instructions.      

Also, you have the ability to test drive each one to get a better feel for the program, and no credit card is required. Just make sure to drag the button to Free trial for 30 days and click Try it for free for the program you are interested in.

Afaik, you are allowed to purge your account within 60 days (not 90 days) for QBO US version. Otherwise, you should open a new blank QBO account instead.
