Question

How do you remove the spam ads that Intuit puts on just about every page. About 2/3 of the Reports home page is covered by a spam ad for benefits. Ugh!

Hello there, tom.

This isn't the impression we want you to have. I understand that these ads are affecting your navigation experience. However, the option to disable them is currently unavailable.

I recognize how important it is to flawlessly supervise your business in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I recommend ticking on the X or Nothanks buttons to remove these ads.

Alternatively, we can enable the pop-up blocker of your browser. It prevents pop-ups from showing up. Let me show you how:

  1. Click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
  3. Go to the Pop-ups and redirects section, and choose Block from the drop-down menu.

For Safari browser:

  1. Click Safari, then Preferences
  2. Select Websites at the top
  3. Hit Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar
  4. Then choose Block in the pop-up menu for the website.

If this isn't the case, I recommend sending your feedback to our Product Developer team. This way, they can review and consider adding it in future updates. You can track the progress of your request by visiting our Feedback forum.

I'm adding this link that can efficiently guide you in supervising your account: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos.

You're always welcome to post a reply in this thread if you have any other questions about navigating your QBO account. I'll be standing by for your response. Stay safe always.
