Hello, anthonyetn1-gmai.

Welcome to the Community. I'm here to help you generate a Profit and Loss report and to show data in QuickBooks Online.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get your Profit and Loss report working. You can open other Profit and Loss reports for the last year, if the same thing happens, we can try signing in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues.

There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full or damaged. This causes the report not to show the correct date you entered in the Report period field.

Here's how:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

Then, try running the Profit and loss report again.

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime collection of data can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. We can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.

Additionally, I've added this article to help you in managing your financial reports in QBO: Create and manage reports.

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions related to your reports. I'll be happy to help you some more.
