How to find my quickbooks license number?

    Welcome to the QuickBooks Community @mom5.

     

    I can definitely help you find your license number. If you have QuickBooks Desktop, you can locate your license number by opening your QuickBooks and pressing the F2 key. That will open a Product & Information window.

     

    QuickBooks Online accounts don't have a license number, they have a Company ID(CoID). You’ll find your CoID on your Billing & Subscription page.

     

    1. Click the Gear icon.
    2. Choose Account & Settings.
    3. Select Billing & Subscription on the left. The Company ID will be displayed at the top.

    I can definitely help you find your license number. If you have QuickBooks Desktop, you can locate your license number by opening your QuickBooks and pressing the F2 key. That will open a Product & Information window.

    I lost my password for desktop QuickBooks pro 2017. Apparently, one needs the license number to get a new PW. I saved the license number. But, it doesn't accept the number I saved. You can't do F2 when you are not in the program. Help>!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Updating passwords can be frustrating but don’t worry, I’m here to help. If you registered your QuickBooks product there are a couple of options to retrieve your license number. You can have it emailed to you, or, you can sign in to your CAMPs (Customer Account Management Portal) Here is the link with the option for either: Locate your license or product number.

    You can log in to CAMPs (Customer Account Management Portal) using your Intuit account to recover your license number. Here's how:

     

    1. Sign in to camps.intuit.com.
    2. Find your QuickBooks subscription in the Products & Services list.
    3. Select Details. From there, you'll see your license and product number.

    There is no Product Number in the Products and Services list... Only a license number...

    If you have installed the license on any computer, login to your CAMPS

    https:// camps.intuit.com/

     

    Another option, run the program on your machine, open any company file, and hit CTRL 1 keys.

    I'll walk you through how to locate your QuickBooks license and product numbers.

     

    There are different ways how you can find this information. You can either go to the CAMPS page or into your QuickBooks Desktop program.

     

    To locate them on your QuickBooks program, here's how:

     

    1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
    2. Press F2 on your keyboard.
    3. Look for your product number and license number in the Product Information window.

    Hello,

    My computer had to get a new hard drive, and wiped out all my data. i'm trying to reinstall quick books pro 2015. i don't have the box anymore.  i need  the license number and product number.  my user id is not working to reinstall it.

    I'm not sure your license is integrated with CAMPS. You have no choice but to buy a new license for QB Desktop 2023 Pro Plus.

    We had a pc crash that had a license purchased outside of our normal account and no one had taken screen shots of the license information.  We have full access to the backups and can actually hit them on the hard drive that crashed, but can't reinstall the application without the license.  Is there any way to access this information from the databases?

    Good thing about QuickBooks is it gives us a variety of ways to locate our product information depending on the situation and which we find more convenient. And I'd be glad to discuss them with you. 

     

    First, you can view your license and product numbers by logging into the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) which shows all the registered Desktop apps and subscriptions.

     

    Here's how:

     

    1. Sign in to camps.intuit.com or learn more about signing in.
    2. Look for your app or subscription in the Product and Services list.
    3. Select Details.

     

    This lets you see not just your License and phone numbers but also the User limit, Payroll service key, EIN, subscription number, and other payroll subscription details, Product edition,  Version info, and what's included in your Care plan.

     

    Also, if you've registered before, we have a permanent record of your data. You can quickly locate your information using the tool below. This secure locator makes it easy to search via phone number or email. You just have to enter the Business email and Business phone used while purchasing QuickBooks: Locate Your License or Product Number.
