How to go back to an earlier version of Quickbooks

I want to know how to contact the head of this company or the board.  I am so mad because of the stupid subscription which I never use until I have trouble with logging into my Quickbooks because of your system not recognizing my 2 credit cards that is on file with you.  I HATE the subscription and if I ever get a chance, I will be either switching to a new program or just entering my ending balances into an earlier version of Quickbooks and using that version!!  I can understand larger companies might need your services but the small companies - like ours and another one in which I take care of their books, don't need it or at least I don't.  In addition to the subscription, we also pay for the payroll subscription which then adds even more to our expenses. I will be so glad when we retire from this business and I can cancel everything.  So ANYONE who is reading this, get your hands on an earlier subscription like 2020 or earlier, do that.  They are selling for more money but it will be worth it.

I know that this hasn't been easy for you, Luttrells Auto.

To ensure that this credit card issue will be taken care of as soon as possible, I'd recommend contacting our technical supports. One of our representatives will look into your account and investigate why the system is unable to recognize your credit card information. Here's how to connect with us:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Go to the Help menu, then choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Select Contact Us, then enter a brief description of your issue.
  4. Click Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect.

If really you want to use the older version, you can go to this page to download a copy of the installer: QuickBooks Desktop Downloads & Updates. Once done, you can install the program. Just make sure to have your product and license number handy. Also, take note that you won't be able to use the add-on services anymore for the discontinued version of QBDT.

I don't think you get it.

I'm certain that I'm not the only one who HATES the new update to Quickbooks Online.

I can't get rid of the product/service line on the invoice and estimate, it is a waste of space and information, harder to read invoice and ends up with extra unneeded pages printed and emailed.

I hate that the Manage side screen opens automatically so every invoice view I have to close it.  Waste of time.

The only improvement for me is that I only have to click the tax check box one time to change it instead of two.

There are other awful new features that don't occur to me right now.

I want the previous version back.

And I am not going to upgrade two steps to get the invoice I used to have.

I'll look for a competitive provider.

@Luttrells Auto

If you are still using QB Desktop 2020 or 2021, you can still purchase the one time license for it.
