You can set up an accepted payment method to pay your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription, Rose. I'll be pleased to walk you through the process to help keep your account activated.

When paying for your QBO subscription, you can utilize a credit or debit card with a US-based billing address. The card can be Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You can also use direct debit if you want Intuit to debit your bank account instead of your credit card.

Here's how to verify and update your payment method:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Head to the Gear icon, then Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Click on the Pencil icon next to your payment method.
  4. Once on the Wallet list, you can edit or add a payment method for QuickBooks Online billing and switch to your previously stored payment method.

In addition, the option to split payments between multiple cards is currently unavailable since the system only supports using one card at a time. You can have an Intuit Payment Wallet to add and retrieve payment methods for different products.

Once you provide all the necessary billing information, the QBO subscription is automatically charged to your card to ensure timely payments. For more information, refer to this article: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

If your account becomes inactive, reactivate it and use the same payment method and billing frequency you had on your previous subscription. Please scan this material for guidance: Resubscribe to or reactivate QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, browsing this resource will help you change your company settings and turn on various features to help you perform different accounting tasks seamlessly: Edit company settings in QuickBooks Online.
