When we make a bank deposit, we want to run a report that shows the deails of the deposit so that we can attach the report and attach it to the deposit and put it in our paper files. The Deposit Detail Report contains the information, but it doesn't list a single deposit, we can restrict it to a day, but not a single deposit.

We appreciate you getting in touch with us, LeeWhite12341. I've got insights to share to help you customize reports to show details for a single bank deposit.

When running a Detailed Deposit report, you'll want to customize and enter specific filters to enable a single bank deposit transaction to show. You can assign filters with the same details as the deposits you've created. Here's how:

  1. In your QuickBooks account, go to Reports and enter the Deposit Detail report from the Search bar section.
  2. Modify the Report period and Group by dropdown.
  3. Click Customize.
  4. From the Filter section, select and enter the specific details.
  5. Review all information and click Run report.

However, if this doesn't apply to your deposit transaction after adding filters to the specific deposits, I'd suggest sending this relevant idea to our product developers. They're always open to suggestions and may include this option in future product enhancements so customers can attach detailed reports to their banking deposits.

Here's how to submit feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Enter your product suggestions or feedback.
  3. Then, click Next to send feedback.

Moreover, I've included this reference to help you review and match downloaded bank entries: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
