I added a new product/service then changed the description.Quickbooks report duplicated entries. Don't know how to fix it.

Quickbooks report duplicated entries.  Don't know how to fix it.

Hi, @susandonghia-res. I got you covered about handling your duplicate items in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Changing the item's description shouldn't create duplicate items. A new one might be added reason why the system reports duplicate entries. If you wish to, you can check your audit history to review the changes made to your items.

 

On the other hand, you can fix your record by deleting those unwanted items. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Click on Products and Services.
  3. Look for the item.
  4. Tap on the dropdown arrow under Action, then select Make inactive.
  5. Hit Yes.
