I already have a debit card to my QuickBooks account or so I thought .I say that because the app is making me reapply for a QuickBooks checking account why is that

Once your QuickBooks Checking account is approved and connected with QuickBooks Online, the platform should be recognizing that and not requesting for you to reapply.

I'd initially recommend confirming you're signed in to the correct account. If you're signed in to an account with no QuickBooks Checking account connected, then the platform may offer you to apply for one.
 

In the event you've verified you're using the correct account, but you continue seeing a message offering you to reapply, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up the account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
