Question

I am attempting to save general settings for the Paypal connector and it's just not saving. The spinning indicator goes on forever.

I cannot save the settings for the Quickbooks Bank account nor the "recommended matched transfer account".

I think this is what is preventing me to being able to use this app to import transactions. I have no  idea what I need to do to get it to work.

I recognize the significance of modifying your PayPal bank account settings in QuickBooks Online, @user94326. Let's work together to resolve this and get you back to focusing on your business.

It's also a good idea to check for issues brought on by a full cache when browsing anonymously because doing so prevents the cache from recording your browsing data. I recommend using incognito or other browsers when editing your bank settings.

Here are the commands to open private browsers.

  • Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N

If the steps above will not work, you can use supported browsers as an alternative.

Here's how to edit PayPal account settings:

  1. From the left menu, select Transactions and choose Bank transactions.
  2. Click the pencil icon.
  3. Choose the pencil icon to modify each section.
  4. Update settings, then Save.
  5. Hit the X icon at the top.
