Yes, vgm620. This is to avoid unnecessary charges from your subscription.

I don't want to see you go, but I’m here to make the process easy for you.

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon.
  3. Select Billing Info in the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Cancel now in the Cancel section.
  5. Enter a reason for canceling.
  6. Choose Cancel Subscription.

If you're on a trial subscription, cancellation happens automatically at the end of the trial period without any fees. I'd suggest following these steps if you want to end it now:

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account vis browser.
  2. Go to the Gear icon.
  3. In the About you section, select Cancel Trial.

For more details, please check out this article: Cancel Your QuickBooks Self-Employed Subscription.

Once done, your data will be kept for one year. In case you'd like to resubscribe again in the future, please see the steps outlined in this article for further guidance:  Start Using My Existing Account Again.

Please keep in touch with me if you'll need assistance canceling your account. It's my top priority to get this resolved.
