Question

I am primary user of QB Online. Assistant (Admin user) gets completely different menu shortcuts than I do. No 3 dots for shortcuts. How do I make her menu same?

Tried making her a standard user and no change. She gets a carot to get next level without 3 dots to customize. She has no "Get paid & pay" option or "Bookkeeping" option.  She has no Menu Settings at bottom left. I cannot find a setting to change this.

I'm here to share some insights about this.

 

Your assistant's dashboard could be using the old interface. This is the reason why some menus are missing. You can verify below which interface she has.

 

Since the latest interface is rollout by batch, we're unable to customize the program to add the other menus. 

 

You can also check out this article to determine which view your assistant uses. This could affect the display of the account: Business and Accountant view in QuickBooks Online.
